This one has some good mid length sentences with phrase repetition as well as something going on in the illustrations throughout the book that isn’t mentioned in the words of the story but is a part of the story, both of which I find keep kids engaged and help their comprehension and learning.

The story is very simple, a truck gets stuck in a pothole and slowly builds up other trucks that come by to help tow him out, finally the tow truck does the job (but by this point, the little creatures that have been slowly absconding with his load of bones as a tasty snack have made his load much, much lighter).

My boys 1.5 & 4.5 love this book!

I've hit the exact right age for my 1.5 year old son to love this. Good rhythm & rhymes, sequencing, lots of fun sound effects, fun hidden story in the background. I think this was given to our son by our friend Selena. Excellent choice!

Mama sure does love to read "My Truck Is Stuck!"... with a super southern accent! My enjoyment in reading this book has definitely impacted Oliver's enjoyment of hearing this book. We get a great kick out of it. Thank you Kevin Lewis for bringing this joy into our lives!!

I bought this as a surprise for Sam on a recent flight, and it didn't dissapoint. Sam spent a good amount of time on the plane pointing out "car? car? car?" and then we read it before bed every night of vacation.

this is one of those library books Clem likes so much I should just go buy it. or I could just recite it....

My son has liked it since he was an infant, but it's so repetitive!

Rhyming and repeating make for a good book to share.
