I was soo HYPE for this. the majority of the book bounced between action and snail pace and the ending felt a bit rushed. still i loved these horny idiots

Buckle up because this one was a doozy.

This book would not end. Every chapter had a battle forced into the story line. Whiplash from just normal conversation to fighting breaking out. The lack of world building continued in the sequel and made it difficult to follow anyone or anything.

The last 100 pages were unnecessary. I literally have no idea what the problem was or how they were going to solve said problem.

Similar to the first book, the characters were unlikable and hard to route for. SUPER CRINGEY in most of the scenes where they aren’t fighting.

Also I NEED A MAP.

Overall, impossible to follow anything happening.

"If any harm comes to Remington, Malekh will murder the whole world," Xiaodan said. "Including you and your clan, and I will help him."

The sequel to Silver Under Nightfall and the final book in the "Reaper" duology. I enjoyed this a lot though not as much as I loved the first book.

I wish this had been two books because it felt much more plot-heavy than the first novel. I enjoyed the original's slow and atmospheric pace over the non-stop action of this one. I still had fun reading it. I especially loved seeing the trio's relationship continue to grow.  I will miss these three delightful characters now that their story is over!

Extremely good ending to this duology. I looooove the characters so much, they all have such clear wants and needs. The foreshadowing was done so well and I am very satisfied with how it ended.

3.75 It moved quickly. There weren't any jaw dropping moments.. the spice level was lower than i thought it would be.  I guess you can sum it up as "expected".
