A remixed classic featuring a trans masc MC and a queer romance. Oliver Bennett is hiding who he really is and it's slowly killing him. Meeting the cantankerous Mr. Darcy changes Oliver's life and the things he wants. This was heartfelt, engaging, and features all of the beloved characters of the original. It's just a great Queer story.

I am a sucker for a good Pride and Prejudice remix and this was absolutely perfect.

The author does an excellent job of warning about the deadnaming and the effects of it on Oliver, but still be warned if that’s a trigger for you!

Beautiful and amazing book! Only downfall is that it's not long enough!
A loyal retelling that captures what readers love most about the original novel

I'm a bit perplexed.
I feel like calling this a retelling is a bit of a stretch.
Yes, you have to take inspiration from the source material, but should that go as far as using the exact same sentences and quotes and featuring the exact same scenes in the exact same order?
As if a voice was captioning the 2005 movie?
Mmm.
More thoughts to come soon.
