Exceptionally helpful read. Made a subject that is fearsome less so. As someone with a dayjob and a craft business on the side, I learned a lot from this book.

This is a tremendous tool for those with irregular income to think critically about how to be financially solvent despite inconsistencies in pay, hours, work, etc. I learned about finance options that are modern, technologically savvy, and effective. I would recommend this book for a lot of professionals and students that I know!

I have read a handful of books on money management, but this one by far has been the most informative and helpful - especially given the freelance nature of my work.

The basic advice in the book is solid.
However it is quite dated and very centred on American small business. Not a bad thing just not for me.
Some of the language is also a little patronizing and gimmicky for my taste.

My fiance works as an independent game developer, and this book has really helped me get a feel for how to even start combining and managing our finances. I've put this book at the top of his queue to read.
