Okay but I do have to say a few things. I have never seen One Tree Hill so I was going into this book completely blind! The author is a great storyteller and an incredible narrator!

This was a well written story that showcased a harrowing journey. 

While I do not rate memoirs I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I picked it up because I recognized her from One Tree Hill and gained so much respect and empathy for her and her journey through this cult. 

This was a very brave book to write and I applaud her for it.
