I found this book to be dry, fast-paced, and full of cliches. The lack of chemistry between the main characters and the hasty progression of their relationship left much to be desired. The side characters seemed to lack depth, and I found myself struggling to finish the book. Most of it was smut and the plot wasn’t really there but it did had it’s cute moments ig.Overall, it just wasn't my cup of tea.

The golden boy hockey player falls fast and hard for his neighbor. She owns a bakery and has a stalker ex that won’t leave her alone.
There’s no third act break up which I love, but the constant switching of first and last names was confusing. I read pretty fast and I thought I kept missing new characters.
I can’t wait for Nev’s story.
I love the HALE sneak peak ♥️♥️♥️
