didn’t stand out to me

Clearly took me awhile to finish this lol, I did enjoy this more than the first book but I still got so bored and forced myself to finish it

3.5⭐️’s purely because it was so fast paced and I’m more of a slow burn girly, but it was good.

Book 2 in the Sinners on the Ice series and it was perfection.

Anastasija really did an amazing job with the characters and building up the story. I really enjoyed Angie and Drake, I loved how he falls first and wasn’t afraid to show it. Their chemistry was through the roof from the start and damn I love Angie’s dog.

Drake was the sweetest and nicest guy, but also knows how to be a smooth and dirty talker. Don’t we all love a man who can do both? And Angie was a sweetheart, but her backstory was intense and she had some rough moments in the book. I’m glad Drake found her and was able to help. She was able to grow and make a better life for herself.

I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to read the next one. Anastasija definitely became one of my favorite authors and I am excited to read her other books.

Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice:

Fake dating
Stalkerish ex
Protective male character
Independent female character

This book was a joy to read. Drake and Evangelina were brilliantly written characters who you can’t help but fall in love with. Evangelina was such as a strong character who had the strength to know that when it came to her relationship, she deserved better. Evangelina wouldn’t let her ex stop her from moving on. Drake was a strong character who was willing to help Evangelina when she needed it. While their relationship was supposed to be fake, there was a something growing between them that lead to something very real, they just had to acknowledge it. Thank you to Anastasija for the ARC.

This was a cute little romcom.
Not much stood out to me about it but if you like hockey romance, but it has a lot of similar elements to hockey romances I love!

Loved Drake and Eva! This was a good book and I am very excited to see the next book and tension between Roman and Nev.
