Strong follow-up to the first book. Killjoy writes engaging worlds, characters, and rituals that are relatable and mysterious.

I just LOVED this. The punk anarchist pentagram collective is back at it, and this time Killjoy explores the very discussed relationship anarchist idea of 'autonomy'. Spoiler alert: we need people.
Beyond cool concepts like magic feds, occult anarchist libraries and stuff, I can't believe that I can't decide who is my favorite character, they are all so fun and damn I would love to hang out with them. Danielle is great, but also Brynn, Vulture and The Days. And somehow Margaret Killjoy introduces new characters like Heather, Vasilis, Isola, and Gertrude, whom you can't help but just get attached to. I want more more more.
