I didn't win much treasure, but it was an epic adventure. :) At least Laurus and I lived... this time. :o

More COYA stories need to be done like this. This was my jam as a kid whenever I was aching for some RP but couldn't get my group together.
Rediscovered because someone donated old copies of Steve Jackson's Sorcery, which is the same premise, and I need more of these in my life.

Ah, sweet memories! Dungeon delving in a D&D book. I got this series when it first came out 40 years ago. I just re-read this, and it only took me 2 tries to get the treasure!

This is a really great adventure, especially for a CYOA style. There's strong characterization and the choices seem well thought out and aren't inserted just for the sake of breaking up the story.

I truly enjoyed picking my own path to adventure (even though sometimes that number of pages between choices was far too large).

I remember reading these Endless Quest books ages ago, but when I went looking for them more recently I forgot that they weren't part of the "Choose Your Own Adventure" line. I probably read more of them than I remember, but I have very fond memories of the ones I know I read.
