it was alright. I didn't really feel that excitement that I thought I would. Hoping it gets better in the next book. I also hope some of the characters are not in the next book as some annoyed me and the writing was not very good.

I think I would have enjoyed this more as an episode of TV. There was a lot of filler stuff that I wasn't sure why it was included other then commentary or ambiance. Stuff like treating her employees nicely or taking care of a dog. That were fine but didn't really add to the story for me.

Needed a short Holiday read.
Decided to pick this one up, since I lived in Nashville for many years.
It’s okay, but just didn’t like the way they talked about a victim of domestic violence, so I removed a star from my original rating while listening.
Has two recipes at the end of story.

Fun and lighthearted. Definitely cozy mystery territory. I didn't know this was a series when I started, but it's not too hard to pick up on character history. Mild TW for mentions of domestic abuse.
