This is a wonderful, heartfelt collection of courageous and deeply personal poems. "Dixon Station" is a favorite because I recognize so well the town I know within its lines, and "My Father Drawing My Portrait" is another I was particularly moved by. Mickelson is a kind man, and it is reflected in his poems. I'm better for having read this collection.
