5 amazing stars! Viola Davis narrates the audiobook which it makes it even better. There was so much in her memoir that I did not know about her and she eloquently tackles serious systemic issues such as poverty, abuse, racism, women’s health, etc. highly recommend!

Good insight into Viola’s life.
Was good to hear about her upbringing, trials, tribulations and triumph-ants. She really shared a lot with the reader and for that I am appreciative. Her life hasn’t been an easy one but she has been resilient and prevailed. Good read!

Picked this up because I kept seeing it recommended but didn’t know much about her. An incredible life story and human being, glad I read it, and have a lot of respect for her craft now.
