Another enjoyable Fox and O'Hare novel! The villain in this one is super creepy and has a body guard who is even scarier. The line between right and wrong becomes even more blurred in this book as O'Hare starts to fall for Fox even harder. I really enjoy the narrator on these audio books. He reads them very well and I sit in the car to keep listening pretty often. Can't wait for the next book.

A light dose of humor mixed with a pleasant amount of intrigue. I found this book to be a quick and enjoyable read.

Is the plot substantially different from any of the other books in the Fox and O'Hare series? Not really. But sometimes, it's nice to know what to expect in a book series. When I'm looking for a fast-paced, adventure filled read, I know I can count on this series. It's a solid thriller.

I love stories about heists and cons, so this book was right up my alley. The mystery component of this book isn't particularly pronounced in this book, it's more like a cat-and-mouse chase.

But, I did enjoy seeing Nick and Kate going on this chase. I liked seeing them work with their associates to pull of the con, and I liked seeing how the puzzle pieces of their plan were put together. The banter, the push and pull between Nick and Kate is particularly great in this book.

The violence in this book is pretty on par with other books in the series. If you've ever watched Indiana Jones, the level of violence, and the realism of the book in general, is similar to that. It's not gory, but there is quite a bit of violence - after all, they are dealing with criminals and Kate is an FBI agent. There is one scene that gets a bit graphic in terms of romance, but it is brief.

This book works as a standalone, in that you can follow and enjoy the book without reading previous installations in the series. However, to better understand the relationships between the characters, it would be useful to start the series from the beginning.
