I am so thankful I was able to read this masterpiece by Mohamed and ugh, I cannot express how beautiful of a book this is. I had a live lecture from Nadifa Mohamed herself and her energy was contagious and the passion for this book was vibrant. It follows Jama’s journey through Aden – Port Talbot in Wales and every second of it was pure heartache and bliss. This deserves all the hype.
