I feel like Derrida is one of those you either build your personality around, or else build your personality around loathing. Me, I’d like to travel back in time just to beat him to death with a copy of this book, but that’s largely to do with the amount of this dedicated to making us imagine him naked with his cat. Definitely the most useful text I’ve encountered on animality and posthumanism thus far though.
