This was a very fun read! I thought more of the cryptids discussed would have been based on stories of encounters instead of on taxidermy or fantastical (sometimes misinterpreted) artwork, but the majority of the stories were still entertaining. Since the writing style is so accessible, it definitely felt like Ocker was my tour guide through the United States of Cryptids. Thanks, Mr. Ocker!

Fun and lighthearted book! Took me awhile to get through because after reading awhile it can get a little tiring just with how many cryptids exist and trying to keep up with all the information given. But it was really neat to see all of the possibilities of what’s out there.
