The best hour of my week was sitting on the couch with this book, drinking a Ninkasi. I worked at a major newspaper for a few years, and part of my job was archiving photos. This is a book of diptychs made out of the same sort of press photos I remember sorting through. Except better. Weirder. The sequencing is often funny, and almost always visually stimulating. You also get the reverse sides of the press photos with clips and hand scrawled info. So much fun. Much more tactile than Tumblr. And best of all, the remainder of this $75 art book is 5 bucks on Amazon right now.
