If you’re looking for an easy, feel-good, happy vacation read, then this is it. I’ve been a fan of Jennifer Weiner for a long time because there is so much depth to the characters she creates. It’s easy to get swept up into the stories and feel like you get to read a wonderful romantic comedy. This story has multiple perspectives and goes into themes of love, life, friendships, and complicated relationships with your mother. I loved it. It’s a book I’d be happy to read again.

I received this book as part of a Goodreads giveaway. I found myself to be most engaged with the book in the middle, but I feel as though the book could have been much shorter and focused on less themes/topics to make it a bit stronger. I appreciated the approach to a difficult subject matter and enjoyed that the story was told from multiple perspectives. A good read overall, but not one I will find myself thinking of from time to time.
