Uggh this read was amazing. Rowan had me ready to risk it all! 😩

This is a love story between two vigilante serial unalivers so, obviously, you're going to be dealing with pretty dark themes. Ensure to check the content warnings to make sure you're okay with what you're getting yourself into. The MCs have major issues and tragic pasts but this is honestly one of the cutest love stories I've ever read. Yes, there are triggers and it'll probably be a while before you can eat Cookies & Cream icecream again but it's so worth it to experience the beautiful chaos that is Butcher & Blackbird.  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This work has charming banter, steamy scenes, and a HEA. I think the relishing of murder and violence even against serial killers with details just personally was unappealing to me.

Rowan has my heart. ❤️❤️

I could not put this down! I loved the back and forth between Sloane and Rowan. At one point I was yelling at my book.

"JUST KISS ALREADY!!!" 

I loved the storyline. I found it entertaining. Cookies-n-cream ice cream is NOT ruined for me, but I may not eat it anytime soon. If you are an avid cookies-n-cream ice cream lover, you may want to skip that part.

I also enjoyed the twist. I won't ruin it, but I surprisingly didn't see it coming. 

I can't wait to start the second book. I may already have a small crush on Lachlan.

The audiobook was amazing. Great storytelling. The smut was not 'too much' and flowed very well with everything else going on.
