"They're not the strongest force in the world" ... "I am"

HOW am I meant to wait until after Christmas to start reading the third book?!

Also, Nezha... just when I was starting to like you..

I feel destroyed in the best way only a book can do

But I need a happy palate cleanser before reading the last book that’s sure to finish off what’s left of my heart

I enjoyed it, but I have to say I struggled to get through most of the war strategy bits. This book ebbed and flowed for me. Overall I enjoyed it, hope to pick up the last one as soon as I can.

I am such a FAN of this series. Book 2 did not disappoint. I think I was a little slow to read in the beginning because of some of the ramping up to battle but once battle started it really doesn’t stop. It’s so exciting not only for its gripping writing of the battles but the continued use of gods webbed into the war. There is also a humming of the root of humanity in the book rather than all out war that it’s important. And I think that also will be continued in the next book!
