Becka Mack has written 3 books that absolutely shook me. She writes so well, so much detail, so much love. She writes a story you can feel connected to from the very beginning. It’s never just about the two main characters, you feel like you know the supporting characters so well because she writes them as if they are just as important. I can’t wait for her next one!

the beginning of the book had me hooked. i loved the first chapters where i had no clue if the male interest was going to be dex, the bartender, or the guy staring at her from across the bar. i almost wish we weren’t introduced to avery’s pov so quickly to keep that anticipation going. i’m gonna be honest, i really loved avery and all the supporting characters, but the “i don’t deserve your love” and pushing him away got to be too much for me towards the end. even during the epilogue like

I loved this book, the only reason that I didn’t give it 5⭐️ was because, while I can understand her reasoning, I sometimes got a little annoyed with Claire and how she reacted to certain things.

A bit on the long side and Claire drove me a bit nuts sometimes but otherwise this was a very cute book.
