It’s not always I finish a book wishing for more and then can immediately read what’s next for the main characters so finding this was a pleasant surprise

For some reason this series is giving me Little House of the Prairie meets Hatcher
Do with that what you will

this was EVERYTHING. so wholesome and so much comfort and calla and jonah’s community coming together and their MARRIAGE ugh it was perfect and so so sweet. loved this so much. i don’t want to leave calla and jonah!!!!

I preferred it when they hated one another but also wanted to rip each other’s clothes off.

I love Callah and Jonah. And reading about them planning their wedding with "help" from all sides brought back not so fond memories of planning my own. I always love Roy as well even when he tries to make it so no one loves him. I'm excited that K.A. Tucker is planning more in this setting!

Okay, this was just perfect. Short and sweet, but jam-packed with everything we love about our favorite Alaskan/Canadians. AND there's more story to come.

Also, Roy is my favorite character and nothing will be able to change my mind.

This novella beautifully puts the finishing touches on Calla and Jonah’s love story. It had Christmas vibes, family visiting from out of town, and a wedding. Roy quickly became one of my favorite characters in this series, so I loved that his story continued in this novella.

While it’s bittersweet having to say goodbye to Calla and Jonah, I’m excited to be able to return to Trappers Crossing for Marie’s story that K.A. Tucker is working on! I will never forget this series and these characters.

Forever Wild picks up at the end of Wild At Heart, resuming the love story between Calla and Jonah. It’s Christmas in Alaska, and both Jonah and Calla’s families are flying in to celebrate with them. But family adds a layer of complexity to the holiday. Jonah and his stepfather Björn are constantly at odds with each other. And while Calla is excited to see her mother and Simon, she is completely overwhelmed by her mother’s overbearing “help” planning her wedding to Jonah. Calla and Jonah want a simple ceremony in Alaska, but the possibility of that seems out of the question. That is unless they get married while their family is visiting for Christmas.

I’m feeling rather melancholy writing this review because although this was an excellent conclusion to The Simple Wild series, I desperately did not want it to end. I loved returning to the charming town of Trapper’s Crossing and all of the eccentric characters that live there. There were so many moments where I laughed out loud, as well as a few where I cried. If you were a fan of the first two books in the series, you will love Forever Wild! It’s everything I wanted and more from the final book.

Thank you K.A. Tucker for such a brilliant conclusion to one of my favorite series’! If you like me are having a hard time letting go of Calla and Jonah, check out my list of books for fans of The Simple Wild. The link is in my bio.

Thank you to Valentine PR and K.A. Tucker for the review copy. All opinions are my own.
