I loved the art so so much... The story was repetitive though so I took off a star for that.

There's nothing really wow-ing about this story at all. It's more of a "and then this happened" type of story with no real climax or any sort of building to something special.

It's the most "okay" book of all of the "okay" books.

super cute, talented, and a fun way to experience Fitzgerald's tale. I recommend it to Fitzergald fans, graphic novel fans, and everyone else. The only issue was having no mention of Benjamin's mom!

A very sad story, but a classic. I loved the book, but have not yet seen the movie.

I've never read the original story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, so I don't know how closely this graphic novel follows it. It was fun reading it though and seeing how different it is to the movie starring Brad Pitt (which I love!).

Pretty solid comic adaptation of the Fitzgerald story.

I'd really rate it a 3.5 if I could. I've never read this storn nor seen the movie based on it, but knew the basic premise. I thought the graphic novel format was a interesting device used to tell the story of a man who is born old and ages backwards. I'm not in agreement with Fitzgerald, who thought it was one of his funniest stories; I found it to be rather sad.

This was a great adaptation of the story. The illustrations are beautiful. I've read the story several times before, but this was the first time it bothered me that Benjamin's mother is barely mentioned.
