The premise and setting of the story was different to others of the genre which was cool to see but the FMC was quite cringe, she started out good and just got a bit annoying towards the end.

Quite dark themes.

2.5 stars. This was a fast-paced book. I found myself not getting attached to either the leads or their relationship. I feel that the FMC had potential if only her character had been allowed to grow. I didn't like the idea that the FMC had to depend on a man to solve her problems. The MMC acted childish various times and the FMC forgave him too quickly. There was a lack of communication between the two that could have cleared things between them. I feel as though the trauma that the FMC went through was passed over, and barely acknowledged. Instead of helping the FMC through her trauma, the MMC at times made it worse through his behavior of wanting to force her to claim him. I felt that the relationship between the leads was more sexual than anything. There wasn't any love between them, just lust.

An quick read, what I needed. Chapter one was heartbreaking in how well it details grief and pulls you into it. For a fast pacted book the main character were fleshed out as much I'd expect, I did however find the 'bad' characters often cartoonish in their evilness. Cant speak on the smut, I tend to skim that or skip it but ther 's plenty if you're looking for that. Also so much SA, I read the trigger warnings but I way under expected just how much there was.. probably going to be the main if only thing i remember

The plot is good not amazing. The smut had me kicking my feet and cackling, just too good. If it was the best I've ever read so far.

“you're mine-wolf, spirits, and body."

A werewolf romance that didn’t stick out to meet. FMC meets MMC almost 30% after, later then I would prefer.
MMC didn’t stick out to me especially when he tried to make her jealous aka owd. Hate that trope. Didn’t like how he was an so called elite alpha but wasn’t understanding and respecting FMC boundaries. Communication is key y’all.
