Jurassic Park was a book I was never expecting to love, I have never loved the movies, or the premise, or the characters. But once I decided to read it I wasn't just engaged, I was enthralled.

This book masterfully intertwines tension and character development. Unravelling the web that is synonymous with Science Fiction, with such elegance and complication, that it left me on the edge of my seat until the end of the book, despite knowing what the most likely ending was the whole time.

So thrilling. I’ve never seen the movie but I wanted to see it IMMEDIATELY after reading this. I just finished the book and think I’m gonna go watch it today. My only complaints is that some of the dinosaur attacks in the middle stated to get repetitive, but when I was starting to feel that way, it switched up, so that’s good. I LOVED Ian Malcolm and all of his delirious-yet-deep rants. Hammond I hated with my entire being. Read this book if you’re a fan of the movie.
