I can't even describe how I feel right now, after finishing this duology. Tears are streaming down my face from all the pain, love, joy, hope. I can't remember the last time characters affected me so strongly. These books will always hold a tender, dear place in my heart. I'm overwhelmed, amazed, and so happy to have stumbled upon these books. They've left me defenseless and vulnerable and amazed. Words can't do them justice.

I don't know how I'm going to move on to another author after this. C.E. Ricci, you are amazing. Thank you for taking a chance on yourself to bring this masterpiece to readers like me. I can't believe this series is your debut. Is there a place I can sign up to be one of your #1 fans? :D --With utmost sincerity, Amanda.

Conclusion to the River of Rain Duet

Ngl, Rain is a dick LOL. River is just a little cutie pie who wants to be loved. Rain has a TON of faults…like a ton- River does too but not as major as Rain. Rain was hard to love at first with how cruel he is to River but as the story progresses, you see how much he changes because of how loving River is

There’s a plethora of triggers in this duet and I don’t want to spoil it but River and Rain overcome the issues they have from their past along with the issues that occur in the present. Overall, an emotional read and I’m glad there’s a HEA :)

After Rain Falls
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really wanted to love this but the first half of the book was so fucking frustrating. They go back and forth and GOD the miscommunication just about killed me. It's like the author just wanted to create more angst, so Rain makes the decision to lie and stay away from River, but god forbid he actually does because he seeks him out and they hook up all the time bc they're horny fuckers and they have multiple, repetitive toxic fight about their toxic relationship like a never-ending cycle of toxicity
