4 stars. I love the Naga Brides series but the repetitive nature of the FMC’s is beginning to get on my nerves. It’s the same woman in every book:
1. Desperate to go home
2. Naive as hell
3. Believes she knows best
4. Upset that the men do not understand human customs (ie: mating contracts versus having sex for pleasure)
I want to read a book with a FMC who is THRILLED to be with a Naga man! I don’t care much of the women who spent 97% of the book trying to get back to space, only to realize that everything they wanted could be found on earth. Give me a girl who’s obsessed with the naga, so much so that’s he’s like “wtf did I do to deserve such a female”

Wow. Top tier series for me. This book has it all for me. I can't explain how much I love this series! I'm obsessed! Full of adventures with just the right amount of romance and spice. Throughout the story, there was plenty of action, and every time I closed my Kindle, I couldn't wait to continue reading.
In this 5th book, it's finally Azsote's story with Laura. Azsote, who is sweet, caring, mature, yet possessive, definitely boyfriend material! Also, he has a dirty mouth

3.5 stars.
I liked it, I felt the romance took a backseat to community/friendship & it needed some more passionate moments, but maybe because she’s older & he’s very calm I dunno it just needed something more. I was expecting more drama surrounding menopause/her ‘child’/breeding, but he’s way to chill to argue lol

Love over 40 - naga style
Both of these MCs were precious in their own way. It was a nice change of pace to have a FMC that wasn’t a soldierly bada$$, but still independent and confident in her own way.
It wasn’t exactly shocking that Laura was the FMC in this book because she features briefly in the previous one. Azsote was controlled and mature, but naive in a few ways. They had a great dynamic and learned give and take over time.
Spice: 5/5
Triggers: mild Quid pro quo-ish relationship, violen, gore, rape (off page), parental neglect/abuse (off page)
