Though I don’t typically enjoy dark books surrounding killing, I’m enjoying this series much more than I expected. I think it’s the humanity in the characters. The fact that they show and feel relatable emotion - pain, grief, joy, jealousy, etc. the characters are what keep me coming back for more!

It was a decent read. It was not as captivating as the other 2 book I've read in this series so far, but the pace of the plot stayed moving forward. It was nice not to have it get bogged down with wallowing emotions. It's one of the reasons I've been enjoying this series.
