This is the story of how the human race tries to survive and thrive in Antarctica after aliens come and take the rest of the planet. I don’t normally read a lot of science fiction but this was exceptional. It really makes you think about humanity and what are our best and worst qualities and where should the lines be drawn that we should not cross.

A family on holiday. An alien invasion. Humanity bands together to fight and defeat the enemy. 
  
You may think that you've seen that movie or read that book, but what happens when the human race is simply told that they have 30 days to reach Antarctica, where they will be allowed to exist?
  
This is not just an enthralling story of man kinds survival, but that of the human race as we know it. 
  
Cold People is an engrossing book that will make you shiver at the very thought of your own existence, that of the evolution of humans, and how far we would go to ensure our survival in the toughest of times.
