the only thing that bothered me abt this book was how it felt like a romance between the fmc and Marcus but left his two friends out. it felt like there were a little thrown in.

also i read in the next book one of the hero’s is engaged to OW. he randomly comes back from being missing for half the book and is engaged. no thanks.

Meh. A lot of talking and wondering “why” and then at 90% you find out it’s a Mafia Purge thing.
