I legit remember reading this book like a year or so ago and couldn't for the life of me remember the name -- one good search later "reverse harem where the female main character loses an arm" and here she is.
Anyway, I know for a fact I devoured this entire series in like a single weekend. Shit was addicting. Was it the best writing out there? No. Did I enjoy it though? Duh. The premise was outlandish and absurd but again I ate that shit up easily. I 10000% couldn't relate because I can't say I'd step in front of a stranger (even if he's hot) and take a bullet for him. Like damn girl...but go off I guess???
But it was a top why choose/reverse harem and the fact I remembered the premise even without the title is a testament to the story's gripping plot. So yes, I would recommend it for a good time but maybe not for the I'm-looking-for-a-literary-masterpiece time -- if you catch my drift.

3.5⭐️It was good I definitely might come back and read the other two books because I am genuinely curious to see how her relationship with Theo and Ryland turns out. However, I felt like the sex was so rough and sudden, it definitely put me off a little. There's not just much plot besides that so I don't have a super high motivation to continue.
This was a 3 star read until the end honestly. I think from the beginning the pacing was off but it was readable. The breaking point for me was
1. Fucking her out of a panic attack (no but really wtf)
2. "Underworld Games" trope. This trope is... just not good. Its not good and I definitely skimmed the last 20 or so pgs because of it

Tbh considered DNF-ing when I first saw that Ayla was only 17 at the beginning but then saw that it jumped forward 2.5 years to when she's 20, which is still a little young but now I need to know what happens
