I don’t know why I love stalker romances so much. I don’t really think there are a lot of them. It makes sense, being stalked or stalking someone IRL is scary and awful. In the world of romance novels, I’m all in though.
I really enjoyed this book way more than I thought I would. I’ve been reading mostly bully romances (also something that I would never be in favor of IRL) and this was like a bit of fresh air.
I was tempted to give this 5 stars but I couldn’t do it. This book was amazing but it was definitely missing that stalker POV I love about stalker romances. We got it through her POV and honestly I’d have expected a much more fearful or angry response from her. She’s not like “yay, please keep stalking me” but she’s also not calling the police or really even trying to avoid them.
Im definitely excited to read the rest of this series:).
