I don't understand how this book has such great reviews. There is no real connection between the characters, it doesn't show how those intense feelings are built up, there are so many plot holes or explanations missing, like why did the three guys not visit or help her in any way for 2 and half year like when she was in hospital or when she has to leave college, why did show their face now or how did three guys came around to obsess the same girl or how Alya came to love these guys. She doesn't know anything about them, has met them 2 days ago and says line like ' he has broken down the walls i have tried to keep up for so long' .. it just doesn't make any sense. And those wierd dreams, thats just too much to bear. So DNF @60%.

this was a great book to start the trilogy. i love ayla and how she’s not the usually same main character in mafia books. i really liked how she has flaws and she’s not ashamed of them. i liked how marcus was obsessed with ayla and how he didn’t try to hide it or to distant himself. anyway, this book is a must read.
