dnf at 72% i honestly don't even know why i kept reading even though i wasn't enjoying it
anyway, here's a few things on why i decided to stop reading:
- homegirl got shot, and instead of trying to stop the bleeding or idk offering support, marcus just romanticize it??????
- time jumps to 2years and some months barely grazing the surface on the whole recover journey, mental damage, and such
- SUDDENLY appearing and trying to act all heroic??? what happened to hello? hi? ola? ciao? halo? ello mate? marcus and his gang just popped in, beat some people up, and left???
- there's no background on marcus and his gang, so their characters seems shallow and underdeveloped (or at least not much background up to 72%)
- back to ayla, girrrrrrl pls not you dreaming of bleeding out from bullet wounds on the pavement and having sex with marcus and his gang
- their chemistry is zero zilch nada. the whole thing seems so random, no building up to the point they started catching feelings. it's like "why are you stalking me for 2years!!! i hate you go away" to BOOM "i love you fuck me against the wall" ?????
