This book felt like a therapy session, as secondary characters variably helped Adrian navigate his anxiety and OCD. It may be difficult to read, but I think was handled sensitively and beautifully. It may be my favorite of the stories in the series.

I was scared to read this because I love Gentleman's and Lady's so much but this was beautiful and is probably now my favourite

I cannot recommend this highly enough. I’m obsessed with books that are shameless in their representation, books where the characters are queer and disabled and Black and there’s no apology for the absolute cornucopia of human diversity. Adrian is a character I relate to very very deeply and many points of this book were hard to read but dear God it was worth it. Lee is a master of life after survival stories, and I am incredibly jealous of her talent.

The first book of the year and it's really trying to set the bar for the others to follow. What an absolutely wonderful end to a fantastic series.

Everything about this was so lovely and warm and real. All the familiar faces and references and my undying love for the Montague siblings. I just wanted to squish them all and make sure they were all okay.

I am a hard proponent of first-person POV being eradicated from my sight but Mackenzi Lee is the absolute exception to this rule. Being in Adrian's head was so well done. I felt his anxiety in the pit of my stomach the entire time. Her writing style is so incredible, Monty and Felicity and Adrian are all similar but different and it's so lovely to have had the chance to be inside each of their heads.

This was really just a warm hug of a book that also left me on the edge of my seat.

I highly recommend everyone read this series - mostly, for the joy that is Monty and then again getting to experience him trying to be a big brother at 39 years old. The humour is incredible and the scene-setting is so well done I always truly feel like I'm right inside the story.

An excellent start to 2022!

I love this book and this series. I felt like this was a very good depiction of obsessive disorders and you KNOW I love Monty and Felicity.
