This series seems very similar to the rich boys of Burberry prep series. I don’t know which one got out first or if it’s just a coincidence but 👀🧐
My girl was so savage with her revenges that I almost felt bad for them !! Love that she wasn’t the scared one in this book. So much satisfaction in seeing all this. Maverick’s particularly hurt my heart cause he’s my fav so far and he seemed so soft and hurt but like he deserved it and his betrayal hurt the most.
My heart breaks for them all cause their stories are horrible and sad and I wish Ryder’s father and Scarlett suffered more for that. Cause they really got of easy.
Also still weirded out that they are only 16. But like before, I’m ignoring this as best as I can.

woop woop revenge 🥳
I have never cheered more for the literal obliteration of someone. Val absolutely DESTROYED them and we all cheered.
Did some of the things go far? Oh, absolutely. But honestly, given what they were doing in the last book, Val earned the right to do whatever the heck she wants. There were so many moments in this book when I gasped due to a revelation. I was NOT expecting the reveal of who was behind Val’s past traumatic experiences before she joined the school. Or even behind who was sending the money. This is such a messed up situation.
In my review for the first book in this series I said that I disliked these guys with a burning passion. They definitely come around in this book and I was getting annoyed at myself for starting to kinda like them from the second half and onwards. Like, we know better than this. But, in all fairness, by the end you will start to look at them differently. Jaxson I think showed the best change of behavior and it felt more genuine than the others. Makes me wonder what will happen in future books.
Definitely liked this more than the first book! :)
