Warring Irish factions can't set their differences aside long enough to take care of the Punisher. Coincidentally, this doesn't bother him in the slightest as it makes his job easier. Enjoy the carnage.

When Irish mob warfare escalates into scenes from Northern Ireland Punisher decides to stop it. And this is basically how this story can be summarized.

Punisher takes on four merciless Irish gangs and plays them one against the other with the final showdown on a decrepit carrier. Lots of gore, lots of action and antagonists all so bloody and murderous that you just cannot wait for Frank to take them down.

Recommended for fans of Punisher stories.

Consider me a fan of Garth Ennis and The Punisher, and this graphic novel certainly didn't lessen my opinion. In this, the Punisher investigates a gang war and discovers a former IRA man is running the show. What I really liked about this was the Irish talked like real Irish people and not the Oirish we (I'm Irish) must endure. The Punisher is a fun character for those who like the characters a little darker.

One of the best Punisher stories so far. IRA, some British/Irish trash talking, great characters (oh my, Maginty, oh my, Finn Cooley!)

This one was actually somewhat made of fail for me - effective story telling, but also serious lack of cleverness and humanity in the secondary characters - full of petty stereotype tropes.
