I struggled reading this one. Even though there was constant action, the writing didn't lock me in as much as the first or even the second book did. I got a little lost in the character names, especially the court and periphery characters. The story was winding and often seemed lost. I love the ideas, but this was definitely a dip in the series.

Wow. Somehow, these books are getting more and more brutal. And I can't stop.
Bravo, Sabaa Tahir. Bravo.

While I had a hard time getting through this book, I am excited to see how it all comes together in the last book.
