I liked this story, but the book was a lot more interesting during the actual road trip than the chapters that followed. It went from an adventurous, “what will happen next?” roadtrip story to a work troubles, fwb, and a “will they, won’t they?” type of story. This made the book a lot more realistic and stressful, than the fun, adventurous, and spontaneous story it was made out to be and that it started as. I appreciated that their relationship was more realistic. I just wish it would’ve been advertised as such, otherwise it would’ve been better as a short story, so that it could’ve only been about the trip.
