This is a romance that starts as two people who can't stand one another having to take a road trip together that morphs into them becoming friends-with-benefits, whilst dealing with how being with the other person makes them step outside their comfort zone. I enjoyed the banter and the character development that ensued, especially for our character of Jolene. I look forward to reading more works by this author.

I’m so mad I let this book sit on my shelf for so long because this book was so good. I wanted to see Jolene kill it at work and I wanted Jason to make a new friend outside of his best friend. The chemistry between the two MC was spot on!!!! I loved watching how everything unfolded and how everything flowed it nothing felt rushed. I think the only issue I had was Jason needed to get his lick back for overhearing his coworkers talking sh*t because he doesn’t socialize with them. I he didn’t have a real life outside of work but that’s none of there business to worry about. Oh and I loved Jason’s mama and Auntie they’re the MVP’s of the book I wanted to listen the the podcast so bad 😂

A classic roadtrip romance that doesn't end after the roadtrip does! I appreciate Mimi Grace's attention to detail in wrapping up storylines – they are well wrapped by the end of this book :)

This was a cute rom-com. The characters and plot were decent however, I didn’t feel like the two main love interests had genuine sexual chemistry. Their chemistry just seemed awkward and not organic. Although this one wasn’t my favorite, I’m looking forward to reading the other two books by this author.
