I don't know...honestly....I found this to be pretty boring. It's extremely repetitive and anti-climactic in my opinion.

4.5 stars. There was a lot of tension with the hostage situation, the ending was heartbreaking for a multitude of reasons- the dying girl, the dad desperately trying to save her, the lying husband who will now miss out on a large portion of his kids lives. But there were some great twists.

I really enjoyed this story.

There are three MC's, a husband with a secret, a man trying to tear him down for that secret and a mother determined to keep her children safe during a home invasion.

I absolutely loved the mother, Jade. She's everything a mother should be in such a terrible situation. But it also showed her in a different light of not remembering people she had previously met that are not as fortunate as her and her family. Not necessarily intentionally, though. Sometimes people are well meaning and life gets in the way. But in the case of this home invader, it showed the dark side of not following through with promises on both her and her husband's part.

The story told througbt he husband was from him being in jail for doing some shady shit his wife didn't know about.

And the story through the home invader was messed up, but showed again that people will do anything for their children.

I liked watching all the sides come out and how the story came together. Let me tell you, the daughter was one tough cookie! Loved her the most I think.

I'll definitely be reading anything else from this author. The writing, storyline and the lessons throughout were so well done.

NOW THIS IS HOW A THRILLER SHOULD BE WRITTEN! Had me on the edge of my seat, I finished it in five fucking days.

What made me feel this was a good developed thriller? Honestly, I don't fucking know. All I know is that the reading experiencing was tense. That's all I can recall about it. What made it so good was the unpredictability of the events. I was questioning everything and everyone and when the chapters came in I would think: Here we go again, making it to obvious I would get bored from this point forward, for my mind to be irritated with the question: then what is next? Been confused and lost about every single character was a good, GOOD, thing, because I didn't knew where the book was heading. Kimberly Belle really just hooked me up from the beginning, with all tension about the main characters been rich, the husband been famous, been stalked, like, I could not have a break like the characters in the book. I don't know if I missed obvious details, but I got sucked into the tension of the situation in the book, like, I didn't care about the mask, all I wanted to know was the why, the where, the who, and the what.

I expected the norm of it was the husband's idea or the wife's scheme, there was something beyond that, and that plot was just perfect.

Honestly (and finally) a unique thriller and I'm just going to stay quiet about because the issue here was just perfect.
