Tak to je milý. Když už se tam stane to, na co celou věčnost čekám, takhle mi to pokazí? Tak to pěkně děkuju.

Okay, so I wasn't right with any predictions. But I was right with more problems popping up! Plus, I'm never right with guesses in Richelle Mead books. You'd think I'd have learned that after reading 9 books by her. Sydney underwent some serious changes in this book, and I don't really see this series going anywhere....good. Every time there's a happy moment, about 5 things go wrong to counteract it. Proper review to come eventually. I think.

3.5 stars.

I'm still not in love with this series yet, but trust people when they say that this is where the it picks up!

There were two major storylines in this book that didn't connect with each other and one of them usually got put aside, to my dismay. The one concerning Veronica was a very enjoyable one; fast-paced and mysterious, while Marcus's problems were dragged out and uninteresting, although I enjoyed seeing Sydney's inner conflict that it caused.

The heroine in this series annoyed me to no end in the previous books, but now I've almost warmed up to her. Sydney is more book-smart than experienced with real life problems, and was less cold and reserved than usual (I bet it's because of Adrian).
Adrian was hilarious and sexy, as per usual. We got to see more of him, and that was one of the best parts of the book. The other characters were in the background, which I didn't mind since I don't care for any of them.

Once again I have to give props to Mead for not reusing any elements from her previous series; be it characters or story, but still manage to incorporate the best qualities of said work into the new books: humorous dialogue, fast pacing and an addictive plot.

Final verdict:
The third Bloodlines book felt like a brand new start for the series, and I am looking forward to reading the fourth book. Richelle Mead remains a fantastic author, and I have faith that she will continue to make the sequels as great as Vampire Academy.

OY. Adrian. I think I love him more and more as this series progresses. I was a little less drawn in to the plot of this one, but the romance storyline had me hook, line, and sinker. I expected Sydney to fight off Adrian a little more and was happy that wasn't the case. And damn if Adrian isn't the most romantic fool alive. Okay, not alive, but you know what I mean, lol.

Oh my gosh, that ending just left me speechless, and I hope Sydney is not totally screwed now. But I guess I'll have to wait for the next wonderfully fantastic novel to come out. I have no idea how my Adney heart will be able to take it, but I think I'll be able to manage a little. Lol. :) I hope that somehow some way, she and Adrian can have a relationship; they're so perfect for each other! This series is just gonna tug at my heart strings,I just know it, but I will happily go along for the ride.
