Megeszi a macskám a szememet, ha meghalok? by Caitlin Doughty

informative medium-paced

I wanted to like this book but the particular brand of humor actually managed to get in the way of what would otherwise have been very interesting information. I just had to accept that it wasn’t written for me, and likely would only be amusing to the purported askers of questions (children) or those who would usually be terribly bored by a non-fiction book about death. Also I had to listen to it at 1.25 speed…VERRRRY slow narration.

I love all of Doughty's work, but this book format was less intriguing to me. Her other two works are engulfing, drawing the reader in and getting into the dark and more emotional aspects of death, which I much prefer. However, WMCEME? is a nicely paced, digestible book for all ages about death.
