Really interesting and funny! I would read more of this. The writing is easy to understand without being boring, and I learned a lot!

Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? By Caitlin Doughty was a 5 star read. The title itself was iconic. Doughty was super informative and I enjoyed the content that was in this book. Her humor softened the usually tough subject and even though this was written for kids, I learned a lot even as an adult. I’d recommend!

I love Caitlin and the death positive movement and will definitely read any future book she writes, but this one fell a little short for me. I rated her first book and second book, 5 and 4 stars respectively. This book was a little repetitive and included many facts about cremation, decomposition, desecration laws, and funeral rites from her previous books. I think that those who are interested in Caitlin and/or the death positive movement should start with this book. It would serve as a great introduction to the aforementioned topics and if one wished to continue down the rabbit hole, could then read her previous books which go into much greater and wonderfully morbid detail.

Full of fun facts about death but full of even more fun quips and jokes made by the author/narrator! She’s awesome. Honesty you should listen to this one just so you get to feel her goofy personality and top notch humor. Really one of the few times that it’s nice to have the author narrate.

Each chapter was extremely interesting. Doughty narrates so well and you can really hear the passion in her voice. I hope to be an equally cool mortician some day.

A brilliant read from a brilliant woman! I love this take of answering kids questions about death and adding humor to serious talks. While the questions were often bizarre (such is normally what comes out of their wee mouths) the information Caitlin gives is insightful and useful in different ways to learn about death and bodies.
