This was a delightful and amusing time to read. This is admittedly a bit ironic for the subject matter but it's true. It is a very approachable way to cover death as a topic and answer questions you have likely had about it.

As a long-time watcher of all of Doughty's YouTube content, I am happy to say this audiobook narrated by her keeps to the style I know and love. The dark humor combined with clear explanations was truly perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone even a bit curious about death. I promise the book is not depressing or overly graphic as it is targeted partially at children.

A great book for an adolescent audience interested in the dark side of the life cycle. Also I loved the illustrations, they were adorable ! (Dianné Ruz)

I love how chatty this book is. I want to go to brunch with Caitlin Doughty.

A very quick read! Doughty answers a host of questions about death, all asked by children (and probably adults too - I know I certainly learned a lot!). Written in an honest, easily digestible (and non-pandering) tone with her signature dry humor and stark yet comforting realism. I’m definitely going to share this book with my kids, and I’m glad I gave it a read myself.

Interesting and informative

Interesting and informative as well as amusing. It's a subject we all have to deal with and.go through at some point. All the questions are from children and answered in an understandable way that isn't to grim however it is what it is so there is a certain amount of inherent grimness that comes with the turf.
