after reading MGMF, i just had to continue the series because it's so cozy and sweet but also SUPER HOT. this one was vvvvvvery good. MERRICK>>>> nascosta knows how to write mmcs that while just make me swoon. merrick is the perfect nerdy guy, who is shy around others - mainly due to the stupid xenophobic attitudes of the humans :( - but is also just a genuine sweet guy.... who also likes to watch ;) the way that merrick and grace "meet" is very HOT but also, if it happened to me irl, i would have called the police lmao.

like with book 1, the way the story is told through the fmc with flashing-back and recounting, it got a little confusing, but after reading book 1, i was more prepared for that type of storytelling. i had such a fun time reading, and can't wait to read the next installment in the series as well as other books by nascosta!

This was cute and fluffy and just what I needed to kick off spooky season. I love a good monster romance and this was just so sweet. I really liked that Merrick was the nerdy and shy one in this relationship. He was just the sweetest and I loved the Grace saw that in him. I also really liked that she called him an adorable weirdo. I love when people can just be themselves in romance books and be loved for all their little quirks.

This was a lovely little story and I can’t wait to dive into this series/universe more. Sweet Berries is getting a four out of five stars.
