I enjoyed it. But if you’re looking for an escape from the real world, this may not be the right pick. The plot revolves mostly around Logan’s campaign.

The female lead is infuriating. Why is there cheating in a fake date situation? Both the male leads are way too good. The writing is fine, the plot is shit

3.5 rounded up to 4

This was good and I enjoyed reading it. I blew threw it in a day and it has helped get me out of the reading slump I’ve been in all summer, hence the rounding up, but it’s been a few days since I read it and I can’t even remember the characters name right now.

So although I did enjoy it, it’s not one that will stick with me. I do think I’ll eventually go back and read the book before third about the main character’s sister. I didn’t realize this was a companion book to another one. Luckily it didn’t effect being able to read this one.

*Edit to add - Never mind not going to read Fool me Once. Just read that it’s got the cheating troupe in it and I despise the cheating troupe. Will be passing on that one.*
