saroreen's review against another edition
I’m sorry but I can’t. I don’t like the characters, there’s too much rambling and repeated statements, the sex was more painful than arousing, like… no. I’m dropping this verse and moving on to the next of her works, but if it’s as bad as this then I’m just gonna skip to the most recent to see if the writing has matured and if not I’m done.

This was good! I was hooked from the start all the way to the end. Chloe and Sebastian's story was very sad to read about despite the happy ending. I felt so bad for her the whole time. Even when she finally got happiness, it still felt like sadness surrounded her. I can say the same thing about Sebastian as well. I liked seeing Carter's introduction since I will eventually get into the merciless series. I liked reading about his backstory. I will say though I felt like there were a few loose ends but overall, I liked this a lot.
