I loooove this series!! Melissa Blair is my new favorite author. I can't wait for the next book.

This book did so well in bringing the story to the next level and providing more background to the characters. The spice was great and I love that it really is there as part of the story and not just because. I will be rereading in anticipation of the next book.

Overall,
This is the 3rd book in the Half-blood Saga written by Melissa Blair. I enjoyed my time with this book, the pace was a little jagged in places and it took me a bit to get into it because it has been quite a while since I read A Shadow Crown. I really like what this series is doing. It is complex and character driven while also having a plot with a lot of twists and turns. There is one reveal in this book that I DID NOT SEE COMING! and its wild. Keera has a lot of growth in this book, and a lot of trauma. I believe the next book is the final in the Saga and considering how this one ended I will definitely be continuing with this series.
