This was a beautiful tale that made me chuckle through tears at multiple points. Hannah Gadsby has a capacity of story telling, and an integrity towards her own trauma, I can only aspire to. I'm grateful for this addition to the slowly growing voices autistic queers

I came into this book with no idea who Hannah Gadsby was, just intrigued by the black and white cover photo and the title. What I got was one of the best autobiographies I've read for a while. Gadsby is open, honest and raw. Her story isn't necessarily special or different (unfortunately aspect of it are all too common) but I felt like I knew her. I'm pretty sure we'd get along (well, we'd see each other at a party neither of us wanted to be at and awkwardly not make eye contact but secretly feel we knew what the other one was going through and be slightly comforted by that).

I'm actively going to start seeking out  her work, starting with Nanette obviously.

Her first book was lovely too ;)

Love Hannah Gadsby's comedy forever, but this went on a bit too long? Her writing style works better spoken so maybe I should've just gone for the audiobook tbh

While I enjoyed Hannah’s standup, I am finding myself indifferent and bored by this. I know I am not very far in and it's still on her childhood, but I am finding no motivation to continue.

Audio version, read by the author. Really powerful for the most part. She is a force.
